Short answer
A Florida housewarming is one of the few times you have a reason to gather every neighbor, friend, and in-law in the same space on purpose. A hibachi chef on the new deck or by the pool is the production that turns a tour-the-house evening into something people actually remember. Pricing is the same statewide: $35, $50, or $60 per person with a $500 event minimum. Pick your city below for local venue, season, and parking notes.

What a housewarming hibachi booking includes
One chef arrives 45–60 minutes before serve time with the griddle, propane, every ingredient, plates, utensils, and sauces. Cooking runs 60–75 minutes with a 10–15 minute fire show in the middle — onion volcano, egg tricks, sake pour for the adults. The chef bags out every scrap of trash afterward. There is no equipment fee or cleanup fee; a travel fee may apply by distance and is shown in your quote before you book.
| Headcount | Buffet $35/pp | Two proteins $50/pp | Three proteins $60/pp |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 guests | $500 (meets $500 minimum) | $600 | $720 |
| 20 guests | $700 | $1,000 | $1,200 |
| 30 guests | $1,050 | $1,500 | $1,800 |
Buffet = chicken, steak and shrimp with fried rice and salad; Two/Three Proteins = guest's choice plus grilled vegetables. Kids under 12 are $30. Get an exact number with the cost calculator or read the full pricing page.
From housewarming hosts
“Everything was seamless at our Airbnb. Chef handled everything. Food was better than the hibachi restaurant we usually go to — and nobody had to drive or wait for a table.”

Frequently asked about housewarming hibachi in Florida
Will the hibachi chef cook on my new deck or patio in Florida?
Yes. We bring a mat under the griddle to protect the deck surface. The griddle itself does not spit — it is a flat teppanyaki surface. Decks, pavers, concrete, and composite all work.
Can we invite 40+ to a housewarming hibachi in Florida?
Yes. For 40-60 guests we send two chefs with two griddles. For 60+ we build a custom quote.
How much notice does a Florida housewarming need?
Standard 2-4 weeks ahead for weekends, 1-2 weeks for weekdays. Peak-season weekends (holidays, spring break weeks in Florida) need 4-6 weeks.
