Pregnancy-friendly Hibachi in Florida

Short answer: Hibachi is one of the EASIEST party formats for pregnant guests. Everything is fully cooked, no raw fish, well-done options available, and we handle any specific restrictions (no soft cheese, no alcohol-ignited sauces, no high-mercury proteins). Common at FL baby showers.

Why hibachi is pregnancy-safe by default

All proteins are cooked to well-done or guest preference on the hot griddle. No raw fish on our standard menu (unlike sushi). No unpasteurized cheese or dairy. No charcuterie or deli meats. Fire-show alcohol fully burns off before anything touches food.

Mercury-caution proteins

For pregnant guests, we recommend chicken, well-done steak, and shrimp over salmon (shrimp is lower-mercury than salmon). If salmon is desired, limit to one serving per party.

Avoiding alcohol around pregnant guests

The sake toss (chef sprays sake into guests' mouths) is skipped automatically — we don't ask any guest at a baby shower if they want it. The fire-show alcohol is burned off completely before food touches the surface, so there's no residual alcohol concern.

Common baby shower hibachi menus

$50/person two-protein with chicken + shrimp is the most-booked baby shower combo. Add fruit platter + mocktails on your end for the sides we don't do.
