Allergy-friendly Hibachi in Florida

Short answer: Yes — Fork Yeah Hibachi handles food allergies routinely: shellfish, nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, gluten. The chef cooks the allergy-safe portion first on a wiped griddle, with separate utensils and plating. For severe allergies, email in writing so we have it on file.

Common allergies we handle

Shellfish (shrimp, lobster, scallops — cook on separated griddle), nuts (our standard menu is nut-free — easy), dairy (modify fried rice to use oil instead of butter), eggs (skip egg in fried rice, use plain rice), soy (use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce), gluten (see our gluten-free dietary page).

The cook-order protocol

For an allergy guest, we cook their food FIRST on a wiped griddle before any allergen touches the surface. Separate spatula and tongs. Separate plate. Clearly labeled "no [allergen]" plate at serve time.

Severe vs mild handling

For severe allergies (anaphylaxis risk), email hello@forkyeah-hibachi.com in writing BEFORE booking so we have the restriction on file and the chef can prep accordingly. For mild sensitivities, verbal flag at booking is fine.

What we can't guarantee

Our ingredients come from standard food-service suppliers. We can't guarantee a 100% allergen-free kitchen or trace-level cross-contact. For life-threatening allergies, a specialized allergen-free caterer may be a safer fit.

When to tell us vs the chef vs the guest

Tell us at booking: all allergies for the party. Tell the chef on arrival: the specific guest(s) and their severity. Tell the allergic guest: what they're getting and that it's been prepped separately.
