Hibachi party for 30 people — what does it cost?
Pricing breakdown
For 30 adults: buffet = $1,050. Two-protein = $1,500. Three-protein = $1,800. Kids under 12 are $30 flat each on top.
Why we send 2 chefs for 30+
One chef serving 30 adults turns into 100+ minutes of cook time, which is too long. Two chefs cook in parallel on two griddles, keeping total cook time under 75 minutes and the fire show synchronized or alternating. No second-chef fee on the three-protein package.
Space requirement for 2 chefs
Two chefs need two griddle stations — about 20×10 ft total. A large driveway, 2-car garage with doors up, or extended pool deck all work. For tight spaces we can do one chef at a slower pace instead.
Best venue types for 30
Vacation rental pool decks (Reunion, Sandestin, 30A, Siesta Key), large residential backyards, country-club clubhouses, HOA community pavilions, and corporate event lawns all accommodate 30 well.
Compare to a restaurant
A hibachi restaurant for 30 is either impossible (most restaurants cap at 8-10 per table) or requires 4 separate tables. The private-chef version lets you keep everyone together and still get the show.
