When is the best time to book a hibachi chef in Florida?
Peak season by region
South Florida (Miami, Naples, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm): December through April. Panhandle (Destin, 30A, PCB, Pensacola): Memorial Day through Labor Day + spring break. Central Florida (Orlando, Tampa): year-round with spring break and summer bumps. Northeast Florida (Jacksonville): summer + THE PLAYERS week.
Holiday booking windows
Thanksgiving Day: book 6-8 weeks out. Christmas Eve: 6-8 weeks. NYE: 4-6 weeks. July 4th: 2-3 weeks. Easter: 2-3 weeks.
Last-minute availability
We hold ~10% of chef capacity for last-minute bookings. If you're texting Tuesday for a Friday night, we often can. The hardest slots are peak-season Saturdays — those book out.
Why booking early saves money
The booking fee doesn't change by lead time, but booking early guarantees you get your first-choice chef (the senior ones book first) and reduces the chance you have to compromise on timing or package.
When to NOT wait
If your event is tied to a wedding (rehearsal dinner), a vacation rental you've already paid for, or a holiday, don't wait. Book the chef the same week you book the rental or venue — not after.
