Graduation Party · Siesta Key, FL

Graduation party dinner in Siesta Key
done once, remembered forever.

One of the few times the whole family is in the same place. Make it count.

Short answer

A Siesta Key graduation party in May or December usually has 20-50 guests spanning three generations — grandparents, parents, the graduate's friends, and younger cousins. Catering trays feed them but do not create a moment. A hibachi chef at the house creates the moment and still comes in under what the catered-and-rented alternative costs. Our Central Florida chef base is approximately 194 minutes from Siesta Key, with no travel surcharge.

What a Siesta Key graduation hibachi looks like

For 30 guests the typical setup is one chef, two-protein package, 90 minutes of cook + show, served buffet-style on your deck or patio. Grandparents sit, kids graze, graduate's friends do the fire-show selfie circuit.

For 30 guests on the two-protein package: $1,500 all in. The equivalent full-service catered graduation party (food + staff + rentals) in Siesta Key typically lands at $2,500-$4,000.

Scheduling around the ceremony

Most Siesta Key graduation ceremonies finish between 11am and 2pm. We recommend a 4pm or 5pm serve time at the party house so the family has 90 minutes between ceremony and chef arrival to shift gears, take photos, and welcome guests.

Chef can be on-site at 3pm for a 4pm serve, or 4pm for a 5pm serve. Setup is 45-60 minutes, cook + show is 60-75 minutes, cleanup is 20-30 minutes.

Frequently asked about graduation party hibachi in Siesta Key

When is graduation party season in Siesta Key?

In Siesta Key the two main graduation windows are late April through mid-May (spring) and early-to-mid December (fall). Peak Saturdays sell out 5-8 weeks ahead.

Can you handle a mixed group of adults and kids at a graduation party?

Yes. Kids under 12 are $30 flat. Buffet-style service works well for mixed groups because people serve themselves at their own pace.

How do we schedule around the Siesta Key graduation ceremony time?

Most Siesta Key graduations finish by early afternoon. A 4-5pm chef arrival with a 5-6pm serve time gives the family breathing room between ceremony and party.
