Short answer
A Boca Raton holiday dinner at a vacation rental or family home has one hard constraint: your single oven is already blocked by the turkey, the ham, or the roast. A private hibachi chef sidesteps all of it — the griddle runs on propane outdoors (or in a vented garage), so your oven stays free for traditional sides and the main entrée runs in parallel. One chef, zero reservations, dinner on the table at the time you actually want it. Our Central Florida chef base is approximately 296 minutes from Boca Raton.
Why holiday dinners break Florida rentals
Most Boca Raton rentals and vacation homes have one oven, a four-burner cooktop, and a fridge that is already full by Wednesday. Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve both need the oven for 3-5 hours of a single large protein, and every side wants the same four burners.
Open restaurants in Boca Raton on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve run $85-$150 prix fixe, seat parties of 6 maximum, and sold out six weeks ago. The "just book a table" option isn't a real option for a party of 15.
How a holiday hibachi fits into a traditional dinner
Option A: hibachi IS the holiday dinner. For NYE and casual Christmas Eve this is common — two or three proteins per guest, the fire show replaces the Christmas-cracker moment, done.
Option B: hibachi is the Wednesday-night-before or Friday-after dinner. The turkey roasts Thursday, hibachi handles the "cousins and friends who came in from out of town" dinner on another night. This is 80% of our Thanksgiving-week bookings.
Option C: hibachi runs in parallel to the traditional dinner. The chef cooks proteins outside while sides finish in the oven. Everything serves together. Works for 20-40 person extended-family dinners where there's no world the four burners cook it all.
Pricing — no holiday surcharge
Same price as any other day: $35 buffet, $50 two-protein, $60 three-protein, $500 minimum. For 20 adults on the two-protein package that's $1,000. Chef gratuity is optional and never auto-added.
Deposit is $50 to lock the date. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and NYE itself fill 6-10 weeks out — Monday/Tuesday of Thanksgiving week and Dec 23 / Dec 26 usually have 2-3 week lead time.
Where in Boca Raton we cook holiday party hibachi
Most Boca Raton holiday party bookings land in Royal Palm Yacht Club, Mizner Park, Boca Pointe, Woodfield, Broken Sound, Highland Beach, Boca Grove, Downtown Boca. The setups we see most are Royal Palm Yacht Club waterfront estates, Woodfield and Broken Sound country-club homes, Highland Beach condos, and Mizner-area townhomes. Anywhere near Mizner Park, the Boca Resort, and the Intracoastal canals is well inside our normal service radius for Palm Beach County.
Every major gated community (Woodfield, Broken Sound, Boca Pointe) requires a vendor pass — we check in at the guard gate; waterfront homes usually have a paver pool deck we cook on. A standard station needs roughly a 10 ft by 10 ft footprint on a flat, non-carpeted surface — driveway, pool deck, patio, screened lanai, garage, or balcony all work. We bring every table, griddle, propane tank, and serving piece; you supply the guests and the playlist.
What tends to shape a Boca Raton holiday party: high-end anniversaries, retirement parties, country-club member dinners, and snowbird family gatherings. Tell us the group makeup when you book and the chef adjusts the pacing and the fire show to match.
Best time of year for a holiday party in Boca Raton
Season matters for both availability and comfort. In Boca Raton, December through April is peak; the Boca Raton Concours (February) and Easter weekend fill fastest; summer weeknights are easy same-week. If your date falls in a peak window, book as soon as the headcount is roughly known — the $50 deposit holds the slot and is credited to your final bill, and you can adjust the guest count up to 72 hours before.
Weather plan: Florida afternoon rain is normal and almost never cancels an event. Our chefs cook under covered patios, garages, carports, and pop-up canopies. For a holiday party we recommend a 6:30–7:30 pm start between November and March and a 7:00–8:00 pm start in summer so the fire show happens as the light drops.

What a recent holiday party host said
“Everything was seamless at our Airbnb. Chef handled everything. Food was better than the hibachi restaurant we usually go to — and nobody had to drive or wait for a table.”
