The pizza-chip math everybody defaults to

20 people, three large pizzas each, plus wings, chips, and a vegetable tray: typically $400-$600 total once delivery and tip are counted. Everyone eats one slice, three people eat seven slices, and there is still a half-eaten pile in the fridge Monday morning.

The pizza plan is fine. It is also the plan every host runs. For roughly the same cost per head, a private chef shifts the whole evening tone.

The private-chef watch-party plan

Book a 6pm or 7pm arrival (kickoff is 6:30pm Eastern). Chef cooks on the driveway or lanai. Food serves family-style starting around halftime. Fire show is a crowd moment that pulls everybody up at halftime instead of the ads.

For 20 adults on the two-protein package that is $1,000 all-in. No delivery driver interrupting the second quarter, no sauce stains on the couch, no cleanup.
